"You never know how people are going to react in person,"
says Scott Terry, 32, who works in advertising in Chicago. Last spring, he
posted a photo on Flickr of a "cell phone bus yapper" who disrupted his morning
commute.
The caption: "Can't you use your inside voice?"

For others, posting can be revenge enough. In April, Grace Davis, 51,
a stay-at-home mom in Santa Cruz, Calif., captured a "pushy customer"
wearing a Hermes-like scarf and black sunglasses while ordering around sales
people at Molinari Delicatessen in San Francisco with words like "gimme." At least eight PlateWire users have chastised themselves
online, including one in Nevada last month who apologized for cutting
another driver off in a post titled "Telling on Myself."

TRANSGRESSION: Bad or illegal parking
SITES: MyBikelane.com Caughtya.org youparklikeana -- hole.com
COMMENTS: Parking on the sidewalk, taking up two spaces, cramping in
another driver -- they're all there. Her nanny arrives at 7am with 2 keys, one to unlock the front door and another to unlock the door to the 2 young boys bedroom. The mothers room is much further away in their huge apartment where she does not have a moniter as it 'disturbs her sleep'. The nanny gets the kids up, feeds them and dresses them. The mother gets up around 11, sometimes says hello, sometimes does not. The Nanny then stays all day and puts the kids to bed. I ask you. She is a 'stay at home' Mom with 2 small kids. I had the initial interview with her and she invited me to spend a day with her and the kids. I checked with my agency who confirmed that this would be paid. I turned up at 10am and spent the day with her and her two kids until 6.30pm. I walked 20 blocks to the daughters school and then twenty blocks back. We walked across Central Park to the West Side Park {because the Mom said the kids 'preferred' to go there} in 90 degree heat. I ate a bagel on the walk as we were too busy to stop for a proper lunch and the kids ate in their stroller. She told me that she wanted me to 'play with the kids' as she would observe me in the PArk. Other Mom makes a point of telling her I am fabulous. I then helped feed the kids, cleaned up, played with them and bathed them. At the end of the day she said a hurried goodbye and closed the door. I asked the agency why she did not pay. I emailed her TWICE politely giving her my address and asking her to send payment. She did not reply. I have since passed her several times on 5th Ave and she avoids all eye contact. I meanwhile am still offended that she does not consider my time worth paying for and did not even have the courtesy to send an email thanking me for my day.

Get in touch!

Email me your submissions at isawnannysemployer@yahoo.com

And if you hear of people badmouthing their nanny be sure to send it in!
